Tom, Howie, Jo, Chris, David, Jem, Helen and I all went to the Blue Gum for drinks. We drunk some stuff. The bartender who is normally terribly rude, was terribly friendly. He didn't even want to see my ID, because he remembered who I was.
I wore my Rough Edges shirt. No one liked it much, which was good. It was much harder than I'd expected. Especially in a pub with all sorts of people in nice clothes. Not having any money is a hard life for lots of reasons, and having to wear ugly clothes is just one of them. But it's not one I've ever thought would be that bad until tonight. I don't know if I want to wear it again. I'm tempted to wear it to The Basement or something, for some real humiliation. Or I could try and dress myself entirely from Lifeline for a month. The thought of doing that scares the crap out of me.
After Blue Gum we went to McDonald's. I couldn't eat much, and Helen and Jo had to go anyway, so we came back to Hornsby to look for frisbee spots. We got distracted. After failing to find a way of pulling out the poles they're using the block the road near Hornsby Hospital, we gave up and headed up to Mt Colah to see if the rumour we'd heard of all-night lighting at Foxglove Oval was true. It wasn't. We frisbeed in the car park for a bit, but there wasn't enough light. So we came back to Hornsby and played in the library car park for an hour and a bit. We all got better. Just like always.
I left early too.
1 min left of my internet.

well, for what it’s worth, I dress pretty much entirely in clothes from vinnies and lifeline. You just gotta not care. if you dont care, people soon leave it alone.
besides, you can get some unreal clothes from vinnies!

It’s probably harder when you can’t even choose. So picking a few different clothes from Lifeline might not be that bad. Because you can get some unreal clothes there. But having the old woman at the counter picking one thing for you. That you had to wear every day. That might not be so good.

yeah, I can imagine that being harder. actually, its a different thing all together, isn’t it? other people are so bitchy about clothes..
