I worked 13 hours today. And I didn't have a break for lunch. I ate my vegie pastie in front of the computer.
It's amazing how little work you can get done when the phone keeps ringing. It rung all day today. I didn't get a lot done until the afternoon. But I learnt a whole lot of new stuff. I learnt about sudo (which is the bomb), and I learnt about at which is a bit neat too.
Now the web interface to rdiff-backup has login triggers which mount the firewire backup drive so oosers can browse it. I'll bet you're all thinking that I must be a hack, because mounting firewire drives is dead easy. Well it's surprisingly tricky, but after some fiddling it worked a treat. Except the firewire drive is a bit broken, so it was hard to debug.
