It made me laugh. Even though it's only one letter the difference. It probably happens all the time. In fact there are probably more websites that mentions "bogs" when they mean "blogs" than talk about "bogs" when they mean "poos". The plural of "poo" is a funny words too.

It's just a funny word. Even if no one had ever started using it as yet another word for poo, it would still be funny. It's a much funnier word than poo is.

In the “Madness of King George” his doctor was very interested in reading bogs. He thought you could tell everything about a person’s state of health, just by reading their stools.
