When I turn off the computer at night, it takes a little while to work itself out and turn off the screen. Just long enough, it turns out, for me to turn off my bedroom light, and using the illumination of the screen I can get changed and get into bed with some time to spare. It's very convenient, and much easier than going across to my bedlamp and turning that on just so I'll have a straight-forward walk from the room light switch to my bed.

While I'm on the subject, how much the bomb is hibernating. I love it.
