Kuhn is a doofus. Chalmers writes a bit about him in What is this thing call science?, and I already didn't like him. And today in social science degree that say that he's the most influential person in the philosophy of science. "Science is about paradigms, not about reason....." Blah blah blah. It's just the kind of thing I don't like about flaky sciences. You don't need to say anything that clever for people to worship you. Chalmers says something like "If the anarchist science dude is right, then all of us scientific philosophers are wasting our time." I think the anarchist guy is as bad as Kuhn, but that doesn't mean they're not wasting their time.
