I had my first proper economics argument with an accounting person today. My accounting tutor, who I really like, had a go at me. People keeps saying how much economists and accountants hate each other, but I'd never really understood why. Our textbook said one thing, which conflicts with economic theory stuff. I brought this up, and my lecturer basically said that economists had their heads up their arses. Then he asked all the economics majors to put their hands up. Two of us did. It made me laugh.
