I was balancing on the edge of the gutter the other night. Trying extremely hard to look graceful. Helen exclaimed "Beautiful". I got embarrassed and stopped balancing and said "Shutup" because I thought she was making fun of me. People say "beautiful" to me a lot, but it's usually when I've just pooed my pants, which thank goodness is happening less and less often these days. But Helen said she was serious and then got mildly shocked that I'd told her to shutup. So that was a whoops. Must be less defensive and jocular.
