City 2 Surf this morning. It was heaps fun. So many heads all bobbling along. I ended up the yellow group so I had to run through a bit, but I did pretty good in the end. It's got me all interested in training properly next year. I did do one training run with Jem. But it wasn't that long. But less than 10 minutes.

On the run I heard these people on the side of the road ask this kid a question. I didn't hear what it was, but his reply was "I'm four. Thanks." So I can probably guess what they'd said. He replied in such a confident, sensible voice. It was one of the best bits. The other best bits were when the different bands played along the way. It's such a nice community feeling when everyone is running and there's a jazz band playing. I don't know why that is.
