Part of me would very much like it if reasonable violence was permitted against intrusive photographers. This photographer went in for a "tight shot" and got punched. Perhaps the rule should be "if you're close enough to get punched then you deserve to get punched". The only problem with that being telephoto lenses. So perhaps we should also add the clause "and if you're close enough for someone to run across the street and up the stairs and round the corner to punch you, then you deserve to get punched".

I think punching is a marvellously gracious way of dealing with photographers. I'm not sure I would be quite so.
