iTunes is pretty awesome. Everything you want it to do, it seems to do. It's so easy to use it's practically coerced me into importing my CD collection.

I think it takes up too much screen space for what I want it to be: a music file player.

There’s the CTRL-m option which makes it small. I don’t think it’s much worse than any of the other “media managers” anyway. I reckon it does a less crap job than most just because it’s simple.

I guess.
One thing I’m missing from Winamp is a tabbed playlist. 1000+ in 1 list is just unwieldy. Also, Winamp has inconsistent key shortcuts between playlisty and main window.
Foobar has that, but Foobar is fuuuuugly. I just have a thing about media playes looking somewhat slick.
I’m not entirely privy to iTune’s looks, either.
Did I use that word wright? Privy to?

Maybe “partial” to or something like that.

I hate iTune’s looks.
How’s that?

Also, the comments don’t seem to retain any linebreak formatting proper. Everything becomes 1 BR.

Yes. I’d done something odd with the styles for P tags in comments.
