Bob Brown was thoroughly nasty to Pauline Hanson today. Sure she makes Australia look bad. But she's entitled to say what she does and a lot of Australians agree with her. Should tell all the Australians we don't like to shut up because they are embarassing us in front of our friends overseas? I think Bob Brown could easily challenge what she is saying without having to say that the only people who would vote for her are prisoners.

And people keep calling her comments racist. I don't think anything I've heard recently is. Her comments are probably wrong. But saying that African immigrants are bringing diseases isn't racist. It's either true or it isn't. There's superficial reasons to think it might be true. But it almost certainly isn't. He could simply have shown her the statistics on it and have been done with it.
