I’m sure Jackman is right. The article wasn’t interested in examining alternative explanations – and neither was the researcher. The presence of a male partner would strike me as one of the less interesting variables likely to distinguish these groups of women.
I also like how the quotes around “more often” in the title seem to offer a catch-all apology for everything that is wrong with the article (and research).
