According to the Department of Immigration, Sydney currently has a shortage of lift mechanics. They are encouraging lift mechanics from other countries to move to Australia. I hope our lifts are going OK.

I’m not looking for any lift mechanics at the moment. I’m not sure how the national shortage is going though.

In Australia you can earn up to or over $100K (Aus). Various companies offer insentives such as excellent superannuation schemmes, redundancy payment apon retiring, travel money, meal allowances for working overtime and if you want to rack in the top dollars doing home call outs where you can paid 4 hours doubletime per callout. Just about every company offers these conditions except ThyssenKrupp.
