Last night Libby made us a delicious dinner. One of the most delicious she has made. However, in the process she melted one of our chopping boards. It was one of the boards from our four board, colour-coded set of boards. And it wasn't just any board. It was the chopping board specifically made for chopping soup. Our meat, vegetable and cheese boards are all thankfully in tact, but from now on our soup is going to be extremely chunky.

It’s a bit funny, but it’s fine I guess. You just have to get a new board I guess if you don’t want the soup to be chunky.

Those are both pretty good ideas. In some ways a stick blender might actually be more useful than chopping soup on a board.

Hi Ryan, i found your blog when i did a search on google. Sorry for this random comment. I am a UNSW student and i enrolled in Econ3114 – Superannuation and Retirement this semester. I was just wondering if you have any useful materials or tips for this course such as the assignment, mid session and final exam. Because this is my last semester and i don’t want to fail lol

It’s hard to remember. It was a while back. I did well in the final assignment and exam and I think I wrote a fair bit about the international context of superannuation and the relationship between savings and production. From memory I think that I wrote that a lot of the super initiatives were a bit of a red herring and didn’t really target the missing production you have with a large retired population.
