It's Homeless Persons Week this week. And to celebrate, there's a Homeless Persons Harbour Cruise. It's leaving from the Opera House. I'm not joking. There is. And it is. Funny funny.
And, completely unrelated to homeless people, today on the bus there was an old Asian late. And she was cute just because she was. But she was especially cute because she was so short that her feet didn't touch the floor. And she had little slippers on. And when it was almost her stop, she pulled out a little scarf and tied it around the hat on her head. I think so it wouldn't blow off in the wind. I wanted to hug her, but she looked very small and frail and I was worried that she'd break.

the lady did sound especially cute. i wonder if we’re allowed to tell strangers that we think they’re adorable. i wonder whether they’d be flattered or freaked out…or maybe a bit of both. either way, they’d react cutely.

She was the cutest old lady since sliced bread.
I think people are more likely to be freaked out than flattered. Perhaps if you were to tell them very diplomatically it would be all right.
