I don't understand it. Why would anyone want to use it? It seems like MySpace except maybe it does less in exchange for being less ugly. I read their little Facebook tour. It says you can meet friends. And post photos. And put notes on a wall. I don't know why people would need Facebook to do that. I would happily ignore it except that people I used to respect are all talking about it.
Yeah, it is curious. I just joined up to see what all the fuss is about, i’ve generally been pretty sceptical about these ‘social networking’ sites. I do like the fact that it forces you to keep it readable- i once saw a myspace with a red background and yellow writing.
I think this is a bit more about networking than myspace and contains less of myspaces ‘look at me’ factor. However there are still many ways of making people look at you and everyone you know on the site is informed of every little change you make on your profile.
Of course it doesn’t really add too much to your life, the people who keep in touch via facebook are also the people who reply to emails promptly and don’t require voice-to-voice contact in order to illicit responses. It does however add a new tool in the procrastinating students tool box.
ps i just fixed my link on your site

Yeah. I’ve been meaning to tell you about the link. People have been trying to find your blog and couldn’t.

I don’t need Facebook… if it’s all to keep in touch with my friends I would simply call them up and talk to them in person. Every time when I look at a facebook page I see some drunk kids having a part… Who needs facebook if you are all partying already anyways????
hahaha..
anyways… it’s not for me…
