Labour Force Participation

Between the ages of 15 and 19, women (61.4%) are more likely than men (59.6%) to participate in the labour force. To me that is amazing. I have to assume that men are much more likely to leave school and get jobs, because women are so much more likely to go to university. But even despite that, women are more likely to work.

Another interesting fact is that in the last 20 years the male participation rate has dropped for all age groups younger than 55. Maybe the government hasn't reduced unemployment at all; it's simply redefined it.

  1. There is even a viewpoint from which there is no unemployment at all!

    You look the other way.

  2. And I was wondering, perhaps, pretty please, you could set up prev/next links on single posts?

    I miss them.

    I cry a little.

    :'(

    see?

  3. I made some links. I could never work out how to fit them into the template, so I just left them out. But better to have an awkward template than for one reader to be discontent.

  4. This is correct!

I think the placement is okay.
Maybe link colours like the sidebar?

  5. Oh yes. I didn’t notice they were the only blue structural sort of links.
