Very Probable New House

We signed our lease at Woodcourt St and have handed over a lot of money. There are a few people interested in staying there as well, so hopefully it will all work out. I went to visit it for the first time on Saturday and I think it is brilliant. Giant and light and practical. I took a few photos of the place.

  1. Your photos are much nicer that the real estate agent’s. (Yes, I found your blog. I’m becoming convinced that Facebook contains the answers to all questions.) In yours the grass is making a concerted effort to grow and be green, and the loungeroom floor is boards instead of grubby carpet. They even look like real boards, instead of the crummy lino wannabes at my place.

    Questions:
    1. Which rooms are claimed and by whom?
    2. When do you take possession?

(There was going to be a worried observation, also, regarding a distinct lack of loos in the 5-bedroom main house, until I double checked the floor plan and found the combined laundry/loo that’s part of the granny flat buiding. Cue BIG sigh of relief.)

  2. Thankyou. It was a pretty serious job getting those photos. I had to squash myself into corners to try to emulate a wide-angle lenses. And the grass is much heartier in mine.

    1. There aren’t really any specific rooms claimed, except for possibly the small one because it’s cheap and Chris is poor. He hasn’t said he wants it though.
    2. We’re going to get the keys on the 7th March. Pretty soon.

Showers are more of a problem than loos probably, but I’m sure we’ll manage.

  5. I reckon there’s going to be quite a bit of that sort of stuff. We may end up having to build our own furniture.
